Anime is an extremely popular genre around the world. A very specific detail about Anime is that patience is crucial – One particular example is Mob Psycho 100, which gave the world two very popular seasons.
However, up until recently, it was unknown if / when a third chapter will be released.
The Anime is an adaptation of a trendy manga series bearing the same name written by ONE, the author of “One Punch Man.”
In a similar fashion to that Anime, Mob Psycho 100 presents the story of Shigeo Kageyama, also known as Mob, a young man with amazing powers.
The plot is based on Mob’s inability of controlling the forces he has access to. Therefore, he has to persistently be on the lookout and prevent his emotion from going into overdrive, provoking a dangerous energy surge.
Fans are still waiting for a sequel to the second season, though official updates from the studio have been scarce since the second season ended.

Release Date
The studio hasn’t even announced that they are officially working on the 3rd season of Mob Psycho 100.
Still, we can take a look at the history of the Anime to form some predictions regarding the future of the series.
The first season was announced in late 2015 and launched in July 2016 for Japanese audiences. The series then went on a break for two years while the episodes were translated for English-speaking viewers.
Season 2 was announced soon after the launch of the dubbed Season 1.
The 2nd season began airing in January 2019. The English dub began airing in April of the same year.
As we can see, Bones can work efficiently after fully committing to a project. Unfortunately, looking at the history of the releases, a 2022 release of the third season is the most optimistic estimation.
Cast
As the producers had no trouble getting the same voice actors from the first season to dub the second season, there is no reason to believe that they will cut somebody from the cast.
Therefore, it’s safe to say that the cast will be completely the same.
Plot
The Anime was faithful to the source manga, so it’s fairly easy to predict what is going to happen in the upcoming season.
The first two seasons covered 12 volumes (out of 16) of the manga, so the new season would likely see the appearance of the Divine Tree, which grew from a broccoli seed from Mob’s pocket.
It’s also expected to see the “Divine Tree Arc,” the “Telepathy Mini-Arc,” the “???% Arc,” and the epilogue in Season 3.
