Pokémon Evolutions is really something we are looking forward. The franchise is one of the most popular out there, and there are plenty of spin-offs. But among all of the spin-offs, the most loved by fans was definitely Pokémon Generations.
Since Pokémon is celebrating its 25th anniversary, a new series will make its appearance, and it might be very similar to Pokémon Generations.
Pokémon Generations was uncovered back in 2016. Since then, the Pokémon Origins anime has also found its success. The series has 18 episodes, and it shows a story that found its inspiration in many Pokémon games – there’s something about every region released. The stories were amazing, the animation was beautiful and it surely helped us feeling nostalgic again.
This new series is called Pokémon Evolutions, and it is a limited anime series that will celebrate the history of the Pokémon franchise. It will have 8 episodes and will show each region found in the games. However, the regions will be shown in reverse chronological order.
The first episode will happen in the Galar region. We’ll get to see Alola, Kalos, Unova, Sinnoh, Hoenn and Johto. The last episode will take us to the Kanto region, where everything started.
The series will be produced by The Pokémon Company International. The animation will be done by studio OLM, which also took care of many Pokémon anime series, including Pokémon Generations. We cannot wait to see what the series has planned for us.
The trailer shows us what to expect, and we already got to see some of the amazing locations from the great franchise. We haven’t learned much from the trailer, but we’re sure that OLM will definitely reach all of the expectations of fans.
