The legendary GTA San Andreas game will receive even more credit soon, after the highly-anticipated remake that will land on November 11. But you know what they say that nothing beats the original, and it surely applies to GTA San Andreas.
According to The Verge, GTA San Andreas will also be available for Oculus Quest 2. The big announcement was made by Mark Zuckerberg himself during Facebook Connect 2021. The event has been pretty discrete, as no other precious info about the release has been revealed.

Today at Connect, we announced that the Rockstar Games classic Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is in development for Quest 2. Get a new perspective on Los Santos, San Fierro, and Las Venturas as you experience (again or for the first time) one of gaming’s most iconic open worlds. This is a project many years in the making, and we can’t wait to show you more of it.
GTA San Andreas is well-known for having unforgettable gameplay despite the game’s age and development time. It was launched in 2004, and Rockstar needed only two years to create it. The protagonist character is Carl Johnson (aka CJ), and he started his journey as a poor and rascal ghetto boy. Slowly and surely, he will start climbing the ranks to become a respected and wealthy gang member. However, the journey will be nothing but easy.
Rockstar will release the upcoming “Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy”, meaning a remake of a legendary GTA trio: GTA 3, GTA Vice City, and GTA San Andreas. Some hardcore GTA fans even believe that such titles are way better than GTA 5. We must say that there could be some truth in such statements! GTA will never die, that’s for sure!
