The recent release of the Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition bundle of legendary titles of the GTA series broke the internet in early November. It was a strong reason for many fans to get wild with excitement, and it’s completely understandable.
GTA 3, Vice City, and San Andreas are not relevant only for the Grand Theft Auto series. Although they’re almost two decades old each, these games have been hugely influential for the entire gaming world, and especially for the open-world genre. Remaking all three titles and releasing them as a single bundle in 2021 was a majestic move from Rockstar Games.
The first major update brings fixes
Rockstar just brought the first major update (1.02) for Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition, and the company brings all the details on its official website. You know what they say that nothing is perfect in this world, and not even the GTA series can be on the list of exceptions.
Rockstar says that its update brings fixes for issues such as the flooding rain effects and many more issues.
As Rockstar Games itself describes its bundle on the trailer’s description:
Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition includes the genre-defining Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas together — each one enhanced for a new generation and available together for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via the Rockstar Games Launcher.
Rockstar’s new update (1.02) for Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition is available for PlayStation 4, 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X and S. Hopefully, it will also arrive for those who prefer their gaming on PC or Nintendo Switch.
Feel free to tell us if you’re excited about the new update or not!
