Riot Games, the creators of League of Legends, have joined up with Epic Games yet again, and now they did it to introduce Vi from the League of Legends series Arcane to Epic’s wildly addictive battle royale title Fortnite.
It’s part of a larger deal the two businesses reached at the close of last year, which saw Vi’s sister Jinx launched to Fortnite in November. After Jinx’s introduction last year, it’s exciting to see Vi arrive as a usable skin in Fortnite.
The pink-haired fighter arrives with not just her unique gear, but also other items that Arcane fans will undoubtedly remember. Take a look at our whole list below.
- Vi is available as a stand-alone skin or as part of a package with her cosmetics. Now let us try looking at a few of them. Vi’s skin is derived from her mature incarnation after she has served some time behind bars as a result of the actions of the initial few episodes of Arcane.
- There’s also a pickaxe inspired by Piltover’s prison, back bling inspired on the bunny toy Vi gifted Jinx (and which Jinx now keeps on the desk), as well as an unique emote showcasing Vi’s boxing skills.
- Vi is preparing for battle Fortnite characters, with Jinx in the backdrop gliding in on anything she’ll definitely blow up, according to the vibrant loading screen included with the package.
“The Arcane Vi Outfit will be in the Item Shop alongside more new items of the Arcane: League of Legends Set. Put on the bunny Memories of Zaun Back Bling (sold with the Outfit) as a memento of how far Vi has come, equip Vi’s weapon of choice while her gauntlets are being repaired: the Piltover Warden Hammer Pickaxe, and show off why Vi’s called the Piltover enforcer with the Punching Practice Emote,” explained Epic Games.
