Say what you want about Internet Explorer (IE) – it runs slower than a snail, it doesn’t support many programming languages, it crashes often, and so on. But it has a long history that has paved the way for much more advanced browsers out there.
Internet Explorer was first released in 1995 by Microsoft, and anybody knows by now that you can’t survive in the tech world without constantly adapting. That’s definitely also the case for Internet Explorer, and the legendary browser will finally face the end of the road after 27 years.
Microsoft disables Internet Explorer on June 15, 2022
According to business-standard.com, Microsoft has decided to completely phase out its Internet Explorer browser starting tomorrow, June 15.
Instead, Microsoft encourages people to use its much more advanced Edge browser, which was launched as embedded for Windows 10 a few years ago. Microsoft Edge is currently one of the most popular browsers out there.

In 2010, Internet Explorer still had about 1 billion users worldwide, but many things have changed since those times.
Surely there are even more alternatives to Internet Explorer out there besides Microsoft Edge: You can try out Google Chrome, Safari, Mozilla Firefox, Opera, and a lot more. As for now, Chrome will take the cake in 2022 when it comes to popularity, but we know very well that popularity is not always a synonym for quality.
