Yesterday, we spoke in an article about the upcoming FIFA 23 game featuring a female footballer as one of the cover stars. This isn’t surprising at all, considering that female football hasn’t been invented overnight. But will the move be welcomed by the players?
No disrespect intended to the ladies, as we’re glad to see them representing any sport, whether it’s in the real world or just as a virtual simulation! Another piece of the news reveals that less than 4 percent of those playing FIFA 22 have actually run a match in the game involving female footballers, according to a little research from TheGamer.com.
The Passion achievement reveals it all
The way the aforementioned publication found out the statistic is by tracking the Passion achievement, which can be unlocked by playing a women’s international football match. It was found that very few players were interested in the achievement, regardless of whether we’re talking about those running FIFA 22 on Xbox/PlayStation consoles or PC.
The highest number of FIFA 22 players interested in playing the female football match are those running the game on PlayStation consoles: 4.2 percent, according to PSNProfiles.
If you want to buy FIFA 22, you can grab the standard version from Steam for 59.99 euros. If you’re not satisfied with this version, you can try out the Ultimate Launch Edition by paying 20 euros more.
The minimum system requirements are not too demanding when it comes to playing FIFA 22 on your PC. Surprisingly enough, the minimum accepted chipset is Intel Core i3-6100 @ 3.7GHz or AMD Athlon X4 880K @4GHz. As for the graphics card, you’ll need at least an NVIDIA GTX 660 2GB or AMD Radeon HD 7850 2GB. Last but not least, you’ll also need 50GB of free storage space.
FIFA 22 is available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch, Google Stadia, and Windows PC.
