Who said that the iPhone 13 Pro Max or the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra have the best cameras possible for a smartphone? The stakes can be raised even higher than that, and a limit will probably never exist.
According to Android Police, Motorola unveiled the Moto X30 Pro device for the Chinese market, and it’s the world’s first smartphone equipped with a 200MP camera. Those living in other parts of the globe shouldn’t lose hope, as we can expect an international release as well at some point. However, pretty much all of the phone’s specs are high-end, which means that we’re clearly talking about a flagship.
You can surely expect the Moto X30 Pro to be capable of a lot of processing power under heavy usage. In other words, you should easily be able to run some high-end gaming on it or perform tasks such as video editing. That’s because the gadget is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC chipset, meaning one of the most powerful processors available out there. Having enough RAM along with the processor is crucial if you want a capable phone, and Moto X30 Pro meets the demand easily. There are also 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM mounted on the device for the most powerful of the two versions of the phone.
The main camera of the Moto X30 Pro phone takes the cake, as it reaches an incredible 200MP and was built with Samsung’s new ISOCELL HP1 sensor, one that our publication wrote about back in September 2021.
Last but not least, we have to mention that the battery also doesn’t fall short, as it reaches 4,500mAh and packs 125W fast charging support.
We can say that the prices for the new Moto X30 Pro are a bit surprising considering the gadget’s capabilities, as we were expecting the phone to be more expensive. The 12GB RAM version is priced at 4,499 Yuan (about $668). You can also consider buying the less capable 8GB RAM version for 3,699 Yuan (about $549).
