The most recent trailer for Pokemon Scarlet & Violet has been released just in time for Halloween. Naturally, it is a terrifying ghost story that also unveils a brand-new Ghost-type Pokemon that will be available in the most recent installment of the monster-catching game. And much like the other Ghost Pokemon, it has a cute appearance but yet exudes a sinister air.
The unfortunate member of the Ghost-Type Pokemon Club at Naranja Academy who appears in the trailer is progressively seeing her life force sucked away the longer he spends interacting with the new Pokemon, which appears to behave in the exact same way as a dog.
The official description claims that Greavard is an extremely affectionate Pokémon, and that if you give any attention to it, it will become so content that it will follow you around wherever you go. On the other hand, Greavard will unintentionally and slowly take the life-force of individuals who are in its vicinity.
Meet Greavard, the Ghost Dog Pokémon! 🐶🕯️
Greavard is so affectionate that paying it any attention will make it so happy that it'll follow you wherever you go. However, Greavard will slowly and inadvertently absorb the life-force of those around it.

We don’t know much about the history of this new Pokemon species, so we can only hypothesize about what the situation really is with this ghost dog. However, there are enough of examples that lead us to believe the worst. If you choose any Ghost-type Pokemon, you will discover that these ghosts are trapped in the bodies of Pokemon because of a terrible past that either left them with unfinished business to attend to or an insatiable appetite to take the lives of everyone and everything around them.
Therefore, taking everything into consideration, this ghost dog is most likely a sad mongrel that was either driven over by a Pokemon truck or was abandoned by a cruel family. As a result, it is cursed to wander for all of eternity and drain the life of everyone who comes into contact with it.
