Since its release in 2019, The Witcher has been a great hit for Netflix. Regretablly for the fans of The Witcher, but Henry Cavil will no longer be the protagonist of The Witcher after season three.
This Saturday, Hemsworth reported the news on his Instagram account, where Cavil also reacted:
“My journey as Geralt of Rivia has been filled with both monsters and adventures, and alas, I will be laying down my medallion and my swords for Season 4.

In my stead, the fantastic Mr Liam Hemsworth will be taking up the mantle of the White Wolf. As with the greatest of literary characters, I pass the torch with reverence for the time spent embodying Geralt and enthusiasm to see Liam’s take on this most fascinating and nuanced of men.

The show’s third season will be released in the summer of 2023. The news was announced with a post on Twitter telling fans: ‘The Time of Contempt is night.’ The trailer hasn’t debuted yet. Both previous seasons appeared around five months before the series’ arrival on the platform. In this season, the cast is not different compared to season 4.We have Freya Allan as Ciri, and Anya Chalotra as Yennefer of Vengerberg.
Despite the fact that Henry Cavil will no longer be the protagonist starting with season 4, he will return as Superman in the DC movie Black Adam.
