We can anticipate that The Last of Us Part 3 will include elements from the television program.
One of the most well-known IPs is The Last of Us, in large part because of the HBO series’ recent success.
With the first 2 games, PlayStation and Naughty Dog had produced some of the most prestigious storylines ever told as it is, but the show expanded the audience for a video game franchise that was already hugely popular on the market.
Fans have been wondering what will happen to the TV series and video games ever since the show ended last week.
This is especially true considering that the last game was released almost three years ago, and there has been no official word about a third installment.
A third Last of Us game has been only hinted at, and rumors suggest that it is in development, but Naughty Dog is being tight-lipped.
However, Naughty Dog president and The Last of Us creator Neil Druckmann stated in an interview with EL ESPAOL that The Last of Us Part 3 would probably use elements from the show if it does happen.
He stayed away from providing any specific details, but it is clear that the whole Last of Us media will likely be influencing one another in different ways.
Druckmann stated that “If we ever revisit them in game form. Which remains to be seen, there are definitely elements that I’m going to take from the series that would apply to the games.”
Neither the precise mechanics nor the scale of these elements is known.
While the series is quite true to the games, it also makes some significant changes by adding new characters, altering the fate of some characters, like Bill, and featuring brand-new scenes.
In either case, it will be intriguing to see how Naughty Dog attempts to implement such story elements and how much they affect the upcoming story.
