Motorola is about to introduce its best smartphone yet: the Razr 40 Ultra. Thanks to fresh leaks, we get to see a glimpse of the Razr 40 Ultra, along with a specs sheet. The next-gen Motorola Razr is said to come as a tough rival to Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 and other mighty game-centered smartphones!
When it comes to internal components, Motorola’s foldable devices have so far lost a bit of the game, trailing behind similarly priced handsets. For example, the Snapdragon 765G (the same CPU used in Google’s Pixel 4a and Pixel 5 smartphones) was introduced with the Razr 5G upgrade after the 2019 Razr arrived with a Snapdragon 710 processor. So, we are waiting for a great comeback from Razr and some cool and premium specs and features, of course!
Motorola Razr 40 Ultra Specs and Features: What to Expect?
The Motorola Razr 40 Ultra is said to use a flagship processor, but not one from 2023, claims XDA. Good, so we might finally see Motorola becoming a real game-changer on the market! According to the recent report, Motorola will employ the same Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 CPU as we’ve got on Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip 4.
The processor is definitely going to be an upgrade, considering it is a very strong and effective but not quite as powerful as the more recent Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 (sorry, not sorry, right?!).
What are your thoughts about the next-gen Motorola Razr 40 Ultra?
Expect the Motorola Razr 40 Ultra to debut with a chip of up to 512GB of storage (most likely starting at 128GB/ 256GB), up to 12GB of RAM (that’s somehow how much a standard model could have 8GB), and up to 12GB of RAM, too.
Although not measured, the inner display is said to feature a resolution of 2640 x 1080 and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. On the other hand, the outside display could have around 1056 x 1066. In case you didn’t notice, Motorola is still supporting the use of entire apps on the cover display. But we might see that go on some apps.
Both the updated Razr and its less expensive version are anticipated to make their debut around June. On the spec sheet, it’s unclear how the less expensive phone will be different, but we should get more intel soon!
