Oppo is working on new smartwatches to bring to the world, and it couldn’t be otherwise, considering that such devices are becoming more and more popular. The Watch 3 series of smartwatches launched by the Chinese brand last year stand out for a few powerful features, such as the Qualcomm Snapdragon W5+ Gen 1 (4 nm) processor.
Obviously, we can expect even more from the Oppo Watch 5, and we’ll get rid of any doubts regarding the upcoming smartwatches’ specs soon enough when they arrive on the market.
Oppo Watch 5 will surpass its predecessor
Dubbed the “Watch5,” the upcoming premium wearable by Oppo is expected to build upon the success of its predecessor, the Watch 3 Pro, by featuring a modern and curved design and surpassing it in terms of battery capacity and dual-processor integration.
The anticipated launch event will see OPPO enticing potential Find N3 buyers with an upgraded flagship smartwatch, as Notebookcheck has spotted on Weibo.
The Watch5 is rumored to retain the square curved screen that debuted on the previous Watch 3 Pro. However, it is expected to outshine its predecessor by offering even better battery life, thanks to a slightly larger 570mAh capacity. Furthermore, the fourth-generation wearable is speculated to sport an enhanced dual-chip system, although specific details about the processors involved are yet to be disclosed.
Renowned leaker Digital Chat Station adds that the Watch5 will boast an attractive flagship design and that it could incorporate a carbon-fiber-effect finish. It remains up in the air whether this will be applied to the case or the band. The smartwatch is expected to be available in sleek black and white color options.
With the Find N3 smartphone and the Watch5 smartwatch launching side by side, OPPO is poised to deliver a compelling combination of cutting-edge technology and sophisticated style to capture the attention of tech enthusiasts seeking the latest in mobile innovation.
