The prediction of a price increase for the iPhone 15 by an analyst on Wall Street is not unexpected at all and should not come as a surprise. The price of an iPhone in the United States has not been increased by Apple since 2017 at the earliest. What can we anticipate from the iPhone 15 series?
According to market analyst Dan Ives, the tech giant based in Cupertino would most likely increase pricing for the next iPhone 15 product line. Ives even made an appearance on CNBC and indicated that he expects average selling prices (ASPs) to grow. Although he did not directly address U.S. prices, he predicts that there will be a price increase for the new iPhone models that will be released in September (ouch!).

What makes this situation even more fascinating is the fact that respectable analyst believes Apple will ship between 235 and 240 million iPhones 15 this year only. Even if the tech giant were to increase the price of the iPhone 15 by an average of $100, the company would still generate an additional $23.5 billion in revenue from the move. Just try to picture anything like that happening. Pretty much overwhelming!
