The video game Dead Cells will soon have an accompanying animated series. How cool! The news was just revealed by the game’s developer, Motion Twin. It is claimed that the new animated series would perfectly mirror the storyline of the video game, which takes place on a “cursed island” inhabited by “monstrous creatures” and featuring some of the craziest “prophecies depicting a flame-headed hero.” Are you excited about such news?

The show is being developed by the French animation company Bobbypills, and the French anime distribution service Animation Digital Network is working with them as a co-producer. Since Bobbypills is famous for the game’s animation trailers as well as the game’s various DLCs, we anticipate a terrific series from them.
The initial run of the Dead Cells animated series will consist of 10 episodes, with each one running for around seven to ten minutes, which is quite reasonable. It will initially only be available in France, but following the first debut, we should also see it across other regions. Quite impressive, isn’t it?!
