Free channels from Warner Bros. Discovery and MGM are going to be added to Amazon’s Freevee, which is fantastic news considering that the platform currently provides access to hundreds of cable-style channels that are financed by ads.
It also makes a great deal of sense for Amazon, which recently acquired MGM, to launch FAST channels in order to capitalize on the number of movies and television series that the company has to offer. On the other hand, this month, Freevee will be including eleven FAST channels that are provided by Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD). Reality and documentary television programs, including Extreme Couponing, Long Lost Family, Cake Boss, Say Yes to the Dress, Ghost Brothers, and Paranormal Lockdown, are going to be among the offerings.
What are your thoughts about such changes? What would you like to see up next from Amazon?
You won’t need an Amazon Prime membership to watch any of these channels because you’ll be able to access them all through the Prime Video, Freevee app, and, of course, Fire TV. Shortly this year, Amazon announced that it would make more than one hundred movies and television episodes accessible for free streaming on Freevee’s channels. That’s very remarkable, don’t you think?
And there’s more.
Within the following several months, the service will be getting a total of twelve MGM channels, some of which will be devoted to action and sci-fi movies and television series, while others will be branded MGM Presents. Check out these cool titles: Stargate, Green Acres, The Pink Panther, and The Outer Limits.
As for the WBD, the company has lately made a substantial push into FAST channels. The reason? Well, simple: to make more money. For instance, it actually removed episodes from its own Max streaming service, such as Westworld and The Nevers, so that it could provide such titles and others without charge on FAST channels available on devices such as Roku and Tubi. Neat!
