Check out the announcement trailer for Phasmophobia below:
After its 2020 Steam Early Access release, the ghost game Phasmophobia was an instant hit, and there’s no wonder why! From gamers to horror fans, the game succeeded in welcoming a whole new subgenre of horror games to the extent that surprised developer Kinetic Games. As a result, players got a surprise themselves in the form of updates, including an expansion of the team.
Kinetic Games stated:
We heard you loud and clear, and now it’s finally coming; […] Phasmophobia will enter Early Access for consoles on Xbox Series X | S, PlayStation 5, and PlayStationVR2 this August.
What are your expectations of Phasmophobia so far? What would you really like to see up next and why?
When Phasmaphobia is released on consoles, Kinetic Games says it will have the Progression 2.0 upgrade as a starting point and receive regular updates, just like the PC version. So, we really have something massive to look forward to!
And listen to this. There was a lot of inspiration among the developers regarding Phasmophobia. They implemented a sleek feature so that you may silence other players permanently until you unblock them from the diary. Really cool, huh?
Last but not least, Kinetic Games upgraded every system so that cross-platform play becomes a possibility, and seeing the player IDs indicate which platform a player is using. Neat!
If you’re into horror games like Phasmophobia, please stay tuned for more cool news and tips!
