Although many of those who are passionate about tech are already impressed by what the iPhone 14 lineup can do, the expectations will be even higher when it comes to the upcoming iPhone 15 series. Apple is expected to launch the 2023 flagships at some point in September.
The iPhone 14 series stands out for flaunting the latest and the greatest A16 Bionic chipset, advanced cameras, more durability compared to previous models, and so on. In other words, Apple will have to invest a large amount of work to build something better.
Don’t expect too many iPhone 15 units at launch
A new report coming from The Information suggests that the Apple iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max will be in short supply due to screen manufacturing issues at LG Display. These issues stem from a new manufacturing process that aims to shrink the bezel size. Apple is currently tweaking LG’s display designs to pass reliability tests, and it still has Samsung-made displays for assembly.
If the information is true, the iPhone 15 Pro Max will be the most difficult to obtain, followed by the Pro variant of the upcoming flagship lineup.
Although there’s still plenty of time to wait until the launch of the iPhone 15 series, the internet is already teeming with rumors and speculations about those upcoming devices. For instance, the iPhone 15 Pro Max is expected to feature an incredible amount of 2TB of internal storage space. In other words, the phone’s users will have plenty of space for long and high-quality videos, as well as for large games and thousands of photos. The information shouldn’t come as a surprise considering that we frequently see smartphones arriving on the market with more and more storage space.
The iPhone 15 Pro Max can also be known as the iPhone 15 Ultra. However, we can bet on the first moniker as being the official one, but only time will tell for sure.
