The PS5 DualSense controller colours got something left for gamers to glaze at!
Many people take hours to find out the best colour for their first dynamic controller by Sony.
The Japanese company has just revealed the new Cosmic Red and Midnight Black colours will be available for purchase next month.
With the introduction of the two new shades, the white base controller can be paired with a vibrantly coloured counterpart.
A statement by Isabelle Tomatis from the official blog of PlayStation, the Cosmic Red version made the headlines thanks to its “striking” red and black design, which are reminiscent of the vividly located patches of red in outer space.
Tomatis also explained that the Midnight Black version is a lot like the night sky through unique pigments of black and light grey mixed together.
The inspirations of the two colours remind the trained ears of cosmic sights.
The launch date of the two versions will depend on each region. They will be officially released on June 18, though.
Leo Cardoso of PlayStation stated:
“Our goal is to always find designs that will surprise and entice our fans, and these new colours are the result of an extensive selection process.”
Cardoso added that whilst designing the two new controllers, the team aimed to complement each other.
A recent report by GameSpot suggests that the Midnight Black Edition of the PS5 controller would set buyers back $70, while the more colourful version would cost $75.
