Pokemon Unite has become quite popular amongst Pokemon fans, thanks to its features and challenges.
The recent quest has players stuck in a loop, trying to find the best strategies to block goals. And that includes 10 characters fighting against each other and scoring the most points by the end of the contest.
One way to win the match is to stop opponents from shifting into Aeos Orbs. But how can you do that?
We’ve compiled a list of tips and tricks on how to block goals in the TiMi Studios MOBA.
Block Goals in Pokemon Unite
In Ranked and Standard matches, every team has 3 goal zones. If you get to one, you can just hold/ tap a button and transform in your Aeos Orbs and score more points.
Quite easy, right? Well, you might want to reconsider that.
Unfortunately, scoring is not instant. When you trigger a score sequence, your ‘mon will display a cute animation and, once complete, will shot the orbs into the zone.
That’ll allow you to hit and interrupt the sequence. Such a thing will block the goal.
Here’s how you can do it:
- Search for an opponent on a goal zone that just reached a score sequence; check out the white circle around your opponent’s name on your mini-map;
- Fight them and use a special skill move; that’ll have a knockback effect, stun, or shove effect on them;
- The game will count that move as a block; try eliminating the opponent as soon as possible because they can start the score sequence again.
Best Skills to Block Goals
- Blastoise: Hydro Pump (Shove/ Knockback/ Stun);
- Alolan Ninetales: Blizzard (Shove Knockback);
