The movie based on one of the most popular video games in history, “A Minecraft Movie”, had seen its debut this month in the US, and it’s already making the box office explode. This was pretty expected considering the notoriety of the video game it represents and the solid names from the movie’s cast – actors such as Jack Black and Jason Momoa had been in similar movies before.
“The Minecraft Movie” is on track to win a place in the hall of fame of cinematic history as tickets are selling like hotcakes. The film has ignited theaters across the US, as you can imagine that a lot of hardcore fans of the afferent video games are eager to watch the cinematic adaptation. The financial payoff cannot be stressed enough.

Daily Star tells us that in just two weekends, the film has hauled in the incredible amount of $550.6 million globally, which can only mean one thing: there’s no exaggeration to say that we’re already talking about a blockbuster.
IMDb explains to us the plot of the new Minecraft movie: a bunch of wacky outsiders, each dealing with usual everyday challenges, are unexpectedly whisked away through a strange portal straight into the Overworld, meaning a surreal, blocky realm where the only limit is man’s own imagination. Trapped in this fantastical landscape, these guys must find a way to navigate its strange logic and embark on an enchanting journey led by an unlikely master builder. As they have to face trials and surprises at every turn, the five guys must summon their sparks of imagination that make them who they are—skills that just might be the key to finding their way home and flourishing in the real world. You know, exactly like in the video game, but this time, the stake is much higher!
