She secured the title by winning the Grammy for Best Dance/ Electronic Album for her smash “Renaissance,” surpassing the classical conductor Georg Solti, who had 31 awards. The artist wore a shimmering, curve-hugging gown with her hair in mermaid waves. She wanted to honor the 41-year-old in her history-making moment.

Beyonce’s seventh solo studio album is a sweaty collection of club tracks. It was released over the summer and landed the artist number one on Billboard’s top songs list for the first time in over a decade.
