Blackpink’s Lisa to Make Solo Debut

YG Entertainment has made an official statement announcing that Lisa will fianlly have her solo debut this summer. BLACKPINK’s Lisa is working on the music video and fans couldn’t be more excited.  Last year, the notorious label announced that two BLACKPINK members will have their solo debut in 2021: Lisa and Rose.  Rose has her debut in March this year with the album ’R’ and Jennie already had her solo debut in 2018 with  ’SOLO’.

’BLACKPINK The Movie’

The popular South Korean girl bang released a teaser for their film project ’BLACKPINK the Movie’.  BLINKS will still have to wait until August to watch it, but for now, Lisa’s solo debut is very good news. The movie will be released in 100 countries and it will contain memories from their five years of activities. Extra information mentioned is that some songs from their concerts will also be included in the movie: ’The Show’ and ’In Your Area’.

The 4+1 Project

BLACKPINK will celebrate its five-year anniversary on the 8th of August this year. YG Entertainment has published a month ago on Twitter a poster to mark this anniversary and wrote the words 4+ 1 Project. The band had four members and the agency decided to include that in the name of the project. The label also announced that various projects will take place to celebrate the five years. The band is known for hits such as ’Whistle’, ’DDU-DU DDU-DU’, ’How You Like That’, ’Ice Cream’ with Selena Gomez and more.

Lisa: the rapper

The BLACKPINK member, Lisa, is from Thailand and she has been attracted to the stage since she was young. She started working under YG Entertainment at 13 years old and she was the first trainee of the label from another ethnicity, according to her biography.
