Another fan-favorite game mode is returning to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.
There is no denying that the game has a lot of content, even though there are disagreements on the game’s overall quality.
As gamers know, Warzone 2, DMZ, Spec Ops, a massive campaign, and even a multiplayer mode with all kinds of modes and maps to enjoy and explore are all included.
And now, the goal of Season 2 is to add even more content to the game, such as a brand new map, gameplay adjustments, and to bring back some beloved modes such as Infected.
But, as it turns out, Infected isn’t the only casual mode returning!
It has been confirmed that the wildly popular Gun Game mode, which was first introduced in Call of Duty: Black Ops, will be back in the new iteration as well!
Wager Matches provided stakes for casual matches of party style game types while also allowing players to wager in-game currency and use it to purchase cosmetics and many other such items.
Everyone in the Gun Game starts out with the same weapon, and for each person they kill, they receive a new, often superior one to replace it.
The winner is the first person to use every weapon, but if they are ever stabbed, they are forced to go back to the gun they had before.
It is a rather entertaining and laid back mode with a hint of competition, and it will definitely return in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 on February 15 in conjunction with the release of season 2.
Each participant in the 2v2 game format has one life every round, and the battlefield is relatively small.
It all moves quickly and depends more on one’s skillset rather than on some of the other modes available.
After being launched in 2019’s Modern Warfare, Gunfight is a feature that many have been wanting to see make a return and now it’s finally happening!
Fans of Call of Duty are hoping to see a number of additional modes make a comeback in the future as well.
