Activision and Infinity Ward have announced the specifics of the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 campaign preload that will be available to players with early access.
In accordance with what had been previously disclosed, players who make an immediate digital buy of Modern Warfare 2 will be granted priority access to the campaign for a period of one week. Even though the full version of the game won’t be available until the 28th of October, players can start the campaign as early as this week.
Preload duration for the Modern Warfare 2 campaign
On October 19, preloads for early access to the campaign will begin at 10 a.m. PDT, 1 p.m. EDT, and 6 p.m. BST. This is a single, unified start time that applies to all platforms, including the PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X and S, Xbox One, and personal computers connected to Steam and Battle.net. The developers have not yet provided any information regarding the capacity of the preload, but the system specifications for the complete game on PC indicate that it will require 72 GB to install.

After you have finished downloading the Modern Warfare 2 campaign, early access will be available on October 20 at 10 a.m. PDT, 1 p.m. EDT, and 6 p.m. BST. As stated previously, this is a single start time that will be utilized across all platforms, including PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X and S, Xbox One, and personal computers connected to Steam and Battle.net.
