Capcom has revealed Street Fighter 6, the following significant installment in the legendary fighting game brand, which is commemorating its 35th birthday this year. Street Fighter 6 is scheduled to release in 2015. Immediately after the season finale of the Capcom Pro Tour, in which Kawano beat veteran Daigo Umehara, a small teaser trailer was released.
Despite the fact that the teaser doesn’t feature any active action, it hints that Street Fighter 6 will feature a more realistic graphic style than past titles in the series — or at the very least, one that is as realistic as you might anticipate while still preserving Ryu’s intimidating dimensions. Capcom has said that further details about the title will be released this summer.
Capcom is expecting that Street Fighter 6 has a more successful debut than its forerunner, Street Fighter V. When Street Fighter V was released for the PlayStation 4 and PC in 2016, it appeared good and performed fantastically, but it was plagued by a lack of substance, as well as glitches and server problems. Following many updates, the game ended up selling over six million copies worldwide.
The trailer
The brief trailer showed a beefed-up Ryu taking against Luke, the 45th and last fighter from Street Fighter 5, who was previously touted as being included in the follow-up. The teaser showed off what looked to be a significantly darker tone, a more realistic graphic style for the series, despite the fact that the two did not really exchange punches in the film. The introduction of Street Fighter 6 took place in a strategic moment when all eyes were n Capcom as it was the franchise’s 35th-anniversary celebrations.
As part of their fighting game announcement, Capcom revealed the Capcom Fighting Collection, an ensemble of ten iconic games that includes the entire Darkstalkers series.
