After a long and unbearable wait, Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition launches today, November 11. Many platforms will be able to run it: Xbox Series X and S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Android, iOS, and Windows PC.

As expected, GTA San Andreas is also part of that trilogy, meaning one of those legendary titles of the series that the fans will never forget. And it’s entirely understandable, as the game was incredibly fun to play for its initial release time 17 years ago.

The original GTA San Andreas came out in 2004, and it left everyone speechless for a number of good reasons. The map is incredibly huge, there are lots of missions (100 for the storyline), and let’s not forget about the variety of side missions and fun things to do.

GTA SA is now revamped with immersive graphics and some gameplay enhancements, and you certainly should give it a try if you’re a fan of the series. Behold 17 minutes of gameplay:

As you can see, the footage takes us back to the first GTA SA mission, with the protagonist Carl Johnson (aka CJ) coming back home to find about his mother’s death and rejoin the Grove Street gang. CJ is just a poor ghetto boy who will get involved with all sorts of criminal leaders and activities to climb through the ranks to become a respected gangster.

Aside from the main storyline missions, you can get CJ to become a cop, paramedic, taxi driver, pimp, and more.  You can even get him to make girlfriends and have a lot of advantages from those relationships.

The original GTA San Andreas still stays strong among the preferences of gamers, and it’s even considered by die-hard fans as the best GTA game ever created.
