2022 will mark the release of a brand new Dragon Ball movie set after the “Dragon Ball Super: Broly” movie from 2018. It’s named “Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero,” and we’re so glad that it won’t follow the same recipe as too many recent Dragon Ball titles, such as bringing back villains from the past.

Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero will be about new powerful androids created by the Red Ribbon Army to take down the good guys. Gohan will once again be under the spotlight, and a lot of fans are eager to see it finally happening. Goku’s son hasn’t been in such a role for a pretty long time.

Three characters are revealed

We’re excited to find out that the details for three characters of the movie, along with their voice actors, have been revealed.

ComicBook.com tells us a bit about those three characters:

  • Dr. Hedo is a very smart scientist who works for the Red Ribbon Army, and he’s good especially in the development of powerful androids.
  • Magenta is the President of Red Pharmaceuticals and also the public face of the evil Red Ribbon Army.
  • Carmine is the confidant and driver of Magenta.

We just have to highlight the unusual haircut of Carmine, one that Vegeta would be envious of.

As for now, all we can do is wait for new information to arrive about the upcoming movie. There’s no telling when exactly the launch will occur, other than the fact that it will happen in 2022.

Dragon Ball Super still has so many to offer, and we can realistically hope for a continuation of the anime to arrive soon enough as well. The narrator himself of the first season lets us know that a continuation will arrive. Almost four years have passed since that moment, right after the Tournament of Power.
