If you’re a fan of productions from Marvel, Disney, Pixar, Nat Geo, Star Wars, or Star, it means that it’s a good idea to give Disney+ a chance. We’re talking about the streaming service for Android TV, and it has now been improved through a new update!
Disney+ (Android TV) 2.14.1-rc1 is the update in question, and it will surely improve the experience of many users of the famous streaming service. There’s not much to find out about the update, however, other than the fact that it likely brings some fixes for bugs and errors.
Two download variants available
The new Disney+ update comes in two variants, and it’s up to you to decide which one is more suitable for you: a simple APK file or a bundle of 15 splits. Your smartphone will need to run on at least Android 5.0 to be compatible with the download, but surely that is a criterion that’s extremely easy to match nowadays.

When opening Disney+ for the first time on or after March 16, all subscribers in the U.S. will be prompted to update their Parental Controls. This includes the option to select content ratings restrictions for each profile as well as to add a PIN to lock profiles. Those that choose to keep their settings the same will continue to enjoy Disney+ as they always have within a TV-14 content rating environment, with the option to make changes at any time under Profile settings.
Disney+ has been downloaded from the official Android marketplace more than 100 million times, which is enough to realize the app’s popularity. The app also has over 2.33 million reviews on the Play Store.
