Dragon Ball FighterZ is still getting a lot of love from both the developers and the fans. After the announcement of the World Tour 2022/2023 competition a few days ago, DBFZ will finally receive the rollback netcode alongside a next-gen update for console players. The news is brought by GameRant.
The big news regarding the rollback netcode comes from Bandai Namco itself via Twitter, to be more precise, meaning the company responsible for the publishing of Dragon Ball FighterZ:

Unfortunately, there are no details available yet regarding when exactly the rollback netcode and next-gen upgrades will become available, but keeping an eye on the latest news remains our best option if we’re fans of the game.
The fans had been demanding a rollback netcode since the game’s original release a few years ago. As for the next-gen upgrade, it obviously would have been a shame not to make the game compatible with the new PS5 and Xbox Series X consoles. It seemed like just a matter of time.
You are free to purchase the standard version of Dragon Ball FighterZ from Steam for only 8.99 euros. If you want the FighterZ Edition, you’ll have to pay 14.24 euros. The Ultimate Edition is the most expensive one, as it costs 16.49 euros.
Feel free to read part of Steam’s description for the game in order to learn more:
DRAGON BALL FighterZ is born from what makes the DRAGON BALL series so loved and famous: endless spectacular fights with its all-powerful fighters.
Partnering with Arc System Works, DRAGON BALL FighterZ maximizes high end Anime graphics and brings easy to learn but difficult to master fighting gameplay.
Dragon Ball FighterZ originally had a roster of only 21 playable fighters. But it’s nice to conclude that meanwhile, the developers have added dozens of more fighters: Master Roshi, Ultra Instinct Goku, Jiren, Gogeta, and a lot more.
