Electronic Arts, the well known video game developer also known as EA, has now unveiled Immortals of Aveum, a brand new first person shooter with a magic-based setting that will be made available to gamers everywhere in the upcoming months.
Fan criticism of EA for not producing as many single player games as it formerly did was common just a few years ago.
But it appears like EA will once more be producing more games of this genre following the success of popular releases such as Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and its remake of Dead Space.
Immortals of Aveum, a brand-new IP from creator Ascendant Studios, is scheduled for release on July 20 for the PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
Immortals of Aveum is the first game Ascendant has ever created and will be distributed under the EA Originals label.
Despite this, the Immortals development team is said to be made up of seasoned professionals that have received a lot of praise and recognition in the past.
The newly revealed title appears to be of really high quality, especially in terms of its graphics, based on what has been seen of it thus far.

As for the official description of the game released by EA, it reads: “Having grown up powerless and destitute, Jak is what is known as an Unforeseen – somebody who unexpectedly manifests some magical abilities later on in life. With his newfound potential, Jak gets recruited by General Kirkan as to join the Order of the Immortals and is then thrust reluctantly into mankind’s infinite war for the control of magic. With powerful magic wielders and legions of soldiers on both sides of Everwar, Jak and his elite order of Immortals have to uncover the mysteries of Aveum’s troubled past, if there is any hope for saving its future.”
