The upcoming Iron Man video game from EA appears to have started full production at this point in time.
During the second half of last year, EA and Marvel Games announced that EA Motive was developing a new game based on the popular Iron Man character we all know and love.
According to rumors, however, the game would be a third-person, single-player experience that would be centered on a brand new Tony Stark.
And while there haven’t been many details released about this still unnamed Iron Man game, it appears that Motive is now starting to focus a lot more on its development.
Not too long ago, EA Motive developers took to Reddit where they appeared to confirm that Iron Man is now moving forward more quickly as a result of the release of Dead Space.
Motive has also produced the newest Dead Space remake, and while the company might continue working on the horror series in the future, it appears that Iron Man’s development is now their main focus.
About the completion of Dead Space, Motive said that “There are numerous factors that need to be taken into account at the studio and company level but first, the team will take a well-deserved vacation before determining what is next. We have an amazing team at Motive that’s started working on Iron Man and you can rest assured that it is in great hands!”
However, even though EA Motive’s Iron Man game is currently fully in development, it seems likely that it won’t be released for a few more years.
This is because it appears to still be in the very early stages of development based on what has been revealed.
The fact that the game still lacks an official title is the biggest sign this is the case.
Nevertheless, if we’re really lucky, Iron Man may eventually get an official trailer at some point in the upcoming months, so look out for that if you are excited about this project!
