Elon Musk has a vision of transforming Twitter into a “Super App” or an “Everything App” like WeChat. To achieve this, Twitter is planning to add a new feature that will allow its users to do a variety of activities on the platform.
These activities include checking bank balances, job searches, applying for jobs, watching live streams, e-commerce, and even finding dates.
He also shared the following message:
“We’re changing the company quickly, shifting from what it used to be, Twitter 1.0, to an all-encompassing everything app. It will offer a wide range of features, allowing users to do almost anything on our platform. Of course, this doesn’t mean you can’t use other apps, but the key missing element is a single app that covers everything.”
Not too long ago, we reported the fact that Musk was dropping some pretty bold predictions for the future. He says that there will be a universal high income as jobs are phasing out and employment becomes obsolete.
