Fabledom is the city builder you didn’t know you needed so much! What’s so special at Fabledom, you may ask? Well, for starters, it’s all about that fairytales, princes and princesses, and breathtaking scenery. Still not convinced?
Fabledom offers all that and even more, but with a twist because it is situated in a pretty intriguing realm from fairy tales. Early access is currently available, and we’ve taken a closer look. Also, here’s the trailer:
According to its Steam website, Fabledom is a fascinating “laid-back city builder” set in a “wholesome fairytale world,” you can’t just resist! The best part is that you can easily create your town in a somehow conventional way by just gathering some resources, start building structures to store them, and finally, converting them into other items you may find.
All of your efforts and creativity could totally result in an intriguing fairytale romance. Still, just if you add a King or Queen to your territory and you utilize products to trade with other kingdoms. Quite impressive, isn’t it?! And you can also choose a favorite hero and gather a whole army in order to protect your realm against some “vile neighbors and minions.”
And be aware of giants, monsters, witches, and other dark creatures that could totally show up in your fairytale realm! You may either slay them or befriend them; who knows, after all, we can all live a fairytale, right?!

If we are being honest here, such a fairytale, romantic plot is way more interesting for a city-builder (so far) than, say, hunger and disease à la Banished (no thank you after I saw Fabledom).
As previously mentioned, Fabledom is now available as early access for one year. And the complete edition includes up to “8 princes & princesses, each with their own unique storylines.” How cool is that?!
