After months of speculations and leaks, the Dragon Ball x Fortnite crossover is finally here. We’ve compiled a sleek guide of everything you need to know about the Fortnite 21.40 update, including exclusive looks at the Dragon Ball skins. How cool is that?
Fortnite 21.40 Update: Downtime Details
Fortnite 21.40 update will air at 1 AM PT/ 4 PM PT/ 9 AM BST, August 16, 2022. As you probably know by now, the matchmaking will be disabled for around 30 minutes!
Other details about the downtime are still unknown because we don’t know how long it’ll last.
Fortnite x Dragon Ball Skins
The Fortnite x Dragon Ball crossover is finally available thanks to the new 21.40 update, introducing four popular characters, Son Goku, Beerus, Vegeta, and Bulma, with sleek matching cosmetics.
You can find the skins in the Item Shop as bundles or individually. Make sure you check them out until it’s not too late!
Fortnite x Dragon Ball: Quests
Besides the cool Dragon Ball skins, you can also try your hand with some challenges to complete and earn rewards, including a Shenron Glider.
Fortnite x Dragon Ball: Map Changes
The Fortnite map now features the famous Kame House from the Dragon Ball! At the POI, you can find Bulma, who is more than willing to sell you powerful items for Gold Bars.

Fortnite x Dragon Ball: Kamehameha & Nimbus Cloud Mythic Weapons
The Fortnite x Dragon Ball crossover also introduces two new Mythic weapons, the Kamehameha energy beam, and the Floating Nimbus Cloud. These weapons will drop from the sky as deliveries!
Fortnite x Dragon Ball: New Battle Bus
Finally, the new Fortnite x Dragon Ball crossover comes with a new Battle Bus design, a fantastic inflatable Dragon Ball. You’ll notice the seven orange balls from the anime and manga that grant a wish if collected!
Fortnite 21.40 Update: Lazy Lagoon
Thanks to the Fortnite 21.40 update, the Daily Bugle has become the Lazy Lagoon! Such a change represents the classic Season 8 POI with the Spider-Man one.
Fortnite 21.40 Update: Bug Fixes
These are all the bug fixes you should expect:
- Crows and other wildlife have lower spawn/drop rates than intended in Save The World
- Players on PS5 are unable to assign items to the Creative Hotbar using L2+Button
- Android players may experience decreased performance or no longer see options for 45fps or 90fps graphic settings
- Prop Mover Device is missing several options in Creative Mode
- Unable to switch device used for Voice Chat
