Chapter 3 aired a few months ago, adding quite the twist to the Fortnite ‘verse. From a new map, sleek new characters to the Spider-Man crossover, Epic Games made sure we got what we deserved.
However, Chapter 3 has stirred up the best weapons in the game, so we need a new tier list to figure them all out.
We’ve compiled a cool list of everything you need to know about the best weapons out there.
Best Weapons Ranked in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 1
All the current weapons in Chapter 3 are ranked from best to worst, as you can see below:
- MK-Seven Assault Rifle
- Stinger SMG
- Hunter Bolt-Action Sniper Rifle
- Spider-Man’s Web-Shooters
- Sidearm Pistol
- Ranger Assault Rifle
- Auto Shotgun
- Striker Pump Shotgun
The weapons have gained much popularity along the way, becoming a must in almost every player’s collection.
To understand why those weapons made the list, we’ve put them separated into tiers, including description, stats, and more. Note that the S TIER is the best, while the D TIER, not so good, and you should totally avoid it.
You should also know that the tiers might change if Epic brings out patch updates with brand new weapons and old classics.
Fortnite Chapter 3 S Tier Weapons
Apparently, all we’ve got now in the big leagues are just two weapons: the MK-Seven Assault Rifle and the Stinger SMG.
The weapons can deal a huge amount of damage per second, especially the MK-Seven Assault Rifle’s red dot sight. You can choose these two if you want to grab a Victory Crown!
Fortnite Chapter 3 A Tier Weapons
The much-awaited Spider-Man crossover also came with sleek Mythic Web-Shooters, which are pretty great, considering they’re not actual weapons.
As for the Hunter Bolt-Action Sniper Rifle, this isn’t the best sniper we’ve got so far, but it’s now the only option in the game. Think about it. A well-timed headshot can be useful if you want a one-shot kill on an opponent.
Fortnite Chapter 3 B Tier Weapons
There’s a first for everything, apparently! A pistol in the B Tier is quite curious, but the Sidearm Pistol can deal an incredible amount of damage at close range.
How cool is that?
The Ranger Assault Rifle itself is still excellent thanks to its size: a small, handy weapon for various challenges.
Fortnite Chapter 3 C Tier Weapons
Probably not the best one here yet, with a sad and slow reload time of 7.2 seconds, the Auto Shotgun shouldn’t be a choice.
Fortnite Chapter 3 D Tier Weapons
Finally, we reach our last stop: the D Tier! Here, the Striker Pump Shotgun tries its best, but it fails big time due to its slow close-range gunfight. Well, it’s quite a surprise considering Epic has chosen to dethrone the shotguns in Chapter 3. Maybe that’ll change.
