The third season of Fortnite began on June 5, 2022, and if leaks are to be believed, it will be one of the longest in the game’s history. Developers have, so far, succeeded in keeping loopers satisfied despite the season’s prolonged 100-plus day lifespan.
However, the current season will end, just as the previous ones did. Now that more than half of it has been produced, fans are wondering when we might expect the next season. Even though Epic Games hasn’t said anything about Season 4 of Chapter 3, there are speculations and clues circulating online. It’s quite improbable that the current season will be extended, despite the proliferation of such claims. The developers have had a lot of time to work on future features thanks to the length of the current season.
When will Season 4 start?
The 21.50 patch is progressing as planned, with Epic now conducting playtests. The gameplay and plot are fundamentally sound, despite a few minor hiccups. On September 17, 2022, the current season will conclude, and Fortnite: Chapter 3 Season 4 will begin a few hours later. Readers should bear in mind that this might alter if “night-night” is really used by the developers.
New episodes might premiere on September 18 if this occurs. Many players may have to wait until the next day to hot-drop into a match because of timezone differences. But because it’s the weekend, there’s plenty of time to battle it out for the crown.
There has been no official word yet on whether the future season would have a Marvel, DC, or Star Wars theme. Although they are just rumors, they may have some basis in fact. Season one’s nemesis, The Bloomwatcher, will probably make another appearance before the finale. Fortnite Season 4, Chapter 3 will continue the tale from here. The island will probably still be covered with flowers, but reality will be in jeopardy.
