A limited-time event announced this week would give Fortnite gamers a free skin and other goodies later this month. The Gold Blooded Ace skin has a sleek, skull-masked figure with gold embellishments.
Starting on February 28, gamers will be able to earn this reward and more, and all they need to do to get it is do a few different quests before the deadline.
It’s uncommon to see a skin like this given away for free, even if these kinds of Quest Pack skins have been seen in previous releases.
However, most of the time, they’re sold for real world money. The announcement included an advertisement for the Most Wanted event, which these skins are part of.
The event works by giving players various in-game tasks to do in order to increase their infamy level.
You’ll begin to gain new prizes as your infamy rises, the top of which is the Gold Blooded Ace skin.
An overview for this new event shared that “Any crew can score a big pay day — but few become infamous. Completing Most Wanted Quests will raise your ‘Infamy,’ which will unlock in game rewards like the Cash Stash Back Bling, The Vault Guardian Pickaxe, and the Gold Blooded Ace Outfit. Keep track of your Infamy and remaining rewards by navigating to the Cold Blooded logo tab in the Lobby.”
Score the ultimate heist.

The Solid Skull Back Bling is this event’s other desirable award.
That may be obtained by completing the several quests that are part of the Most Wanted event, each of which awards you a Cold Blooded Medallion.
Once you have all 5, you receive this back bling, which you can then begin to customize through further tasks in a manner similar to how some of the other character skins can also be customized.
Expect to see the skin and other unlockables starting on February 28, when Fortnite’s new Most Wanted event debuts.
