Fortnite Season 8 is just around the corner, but Season 7 is still going strong with Epic Games revealing a huge live event coming soon!
Operation Sky Fire will air this weekend, and it’ll conclude (finally) the alien invasion. After Season 6 of Fortnite ended with a little celebration, Epic has decided to throw a huge party.
Curious to find out more?
We’ve compiled a cool list of everything you need to know, including when the new live event will air and how to watch it.
Operation Sky Fire Live Event: Release Date
If you want to join the upcoming live event, get ready now because it’ll air this Sunday, September 12, at 4 PM ET.
For other time zones, check these out:
- 1 PM PT
- 4 PM ET
- 9 PM BST
- 10 PM CEST
- 6 AM AEST (September 13)
The Operation Sky Fire live event will only happen once – unlike the Rift Tour event, where we got multiple showtimes on a full weekend.
TIP: sign in to enter the Operation Sky Fire playlist 30 minutes before it starts to get your ‘seat!’ You’ll be able to watch the event with up to 16 friends.
Operation Sky Fire Live Event Stream
If you can’t log in to Fortnite to watch the Operation Sky Fire live event, there’ll be several other streamers available you can join. That includes LoserFruit, SypherPK, and Ali-A.
Remember that the live event will air on September 12.
Operation Sky Fire Details: What to Expect
Epic has offered a few teasers (as you can see below) for the Operation Sky Fire event. It seems that Slone has put some bomb on the abducted pieces of Corny Complex.
That means we might finally be able to destroy the Mothership. We’ll also be able to take to the skies to watch the live event.
Once Operation Sky Fire is over, we’ll go straight into downtime before Season 8 kicks in!
