Fortnite‘s latest challenges have been pretty much odd. And that’s a thing we have to deal with because aliens have invaded the Island, and some stuff is just not the same anymore.
However, the most recent challenge includes finding payphones. As ‘unexpected’ as it might sound, now it’s perfect for taking a break from those sneaky aliens and grabbing some rewards!
We’ve compiled a cool list of all the things you should know about Fortnite’s payphones and where to find them.
Here is what you need to know.
What Are Payphones in Fortnite
Payphones in Fortnite are really cool, especially because you can farm Gold Bars efficiently. They allow you to choose from four NPC challenges, and completing them will grant you some sleek rewards, including Legendary challenges, XP, and, of course, Gold Bars.
The best part, however, is that you can drop pretty much anywhere on the map and find a payphone nearby. But since they don’t actually show up on the bigger map, it’s essential to know exactly where to find them, that’s why we compiled a list of every location.
First, you should know that there are 15 Payphones around the Island. Unfortunately, they’re not evenly dispersed.
Steamy Stacks: the best location
If you land anywhere close to Steamy Stacks, then you’re in luck! You have a few cool options nearby that you don’t want to miss out on.
On the other hand, landing close to Weeping Woods is not the best option here, because it’s more limited.
Check out the following map to find all the Payphone spots:
As you can notice, there are many Payphone locations right now on the map. However, landing near the middle of the Island will limit your options a lot.
For the best chances, try landing at the South West or North West.
Don’t forget to complete a Payphone challenge within the time limit!
