Do you remember how sad we were when the Trios mode in Fortnite disappeared? Well, that’s not the case anymore, as Trios is back in Fortnite Season 2, spicing up things a bit on the Island.
Thanks to popular tipster HYPEX, we know that Fortnite’s Trios are back on the tracks for all non-competitive modes. For now, it’s actually unclear if it’s coming back just for a bit or permanently. However, we hope Trios is here to stay as long as possible because of its huge success; it’s rare!
Fortnite’s Trios was a temporary mode prior to its introduction as a primary option in Chapter 2 Season 5. Since they could no longer form squads of four for team play, users rapidly fell in love with the mode.
There are Fortnite players starting threads already on Twitter, wishing Trios would never leave Fortnite. Some even think that Trios’ demise was caused by Epic’s desire to prevent the oversaturation of its servers following the introduction of Ranked Play. Well, we can tell for sure, as Epic didn’t actually offer any clue about the current Trios return. Whatever the case may be, die-hard Fortnite fans are thrilled with the most recent development. Are you excited, too?
Trios were added by Fortnite in Chapter 2, drawing inspiration from games like Apex Legends. Just imagine how bad it was for those players who preferred playing in groups of three. I mean, why take down something so fabulous?!
