The Fortnite 19.20 update is almost here, and we couldn’t be more excited! Some sleek new content will soon drop, including The Foundation skin, a brand-new Covert Canyon POI, and much more.
The Foundation skin will finally arrive as a playable skin after months of teasers and in-game battles. Also, the upcoming POI could definitely change Fortnite Chapter 3’s map entirely.
We’ve compiled a cool list of everything you need to know, including the Fortnite v19.20 update downtime details.
Fortnite v19.20 Update Downtime Details: What to Expect?
Epic Games has announced that the Fortnite v19.20 update will air shortly after the well-known downtime. During that, matchmaking will briefly be disabled as new stuff is prepared to arrive.

As you can notice, the downtime will start at 1 AM PT/ 4 AM ET/ 9 AM GMT on February 1.
Unfortunately, we don’t know for sure how much that’ll last, but servers are expected to return online in an hour.
Fortnite v19.20 Update: The Foundation Skin
After months of speculations, The Foundation, aka Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, will finally be available as a skin! The Foundation Battle Pass quests have been actually counting down to the new patch, and they’ll unlock after downtime ends.
Every player that’ll complete the tasks will get The Foundation skin. How cool is that?
Fortnite v19.20 Update: the Covert Canyon POI
A brand-new POI called the Covert Cavern is set to air soon. Initially, this location was expected in the previous update.

The new POI will serve as a new base of operations for The IO!
Fortnite v19.20 Update: Haven Masks Challenges and Rewards
The new update will also add an exclusive set of cosmetics that have been locked behind a timer, called the Haven Masks.
There will also be a new set of challenges and rewards, but Epic Games didn’t offer any hints so far.
Fortnite v19.20 Update: Bug Fixes
The Fortnite v19.20 update will also bring a few bug fixes, including:
Battle Royale Fixes
- Spiderman’s Web-Shooters fall with entire uses from eliminated players
- Games and points not actually counting in the tournament score
- When accessing the Compete Tab, the cursor automatically takes the player to the far right of all the tournaments
Save the World Fixes
- Players are not getting access to Expeditions even after reaching the criteria to get them
- Husks can wreck objectives via player-built structures in Deliver the Bomb
- Toggle Harvester Tool button not working correctly on consoles
Creative Fixes
- Charge Shotgun doesn’t save in Item Spawner
- Players respawning in the Creative Hub during games
Mobile and Switch Fixes
- The Storm is not as lush and is more transparent on Nintendo Switch
