The Kinetic Boomerang, Fortnite’s newest weapon, added now in the Chapter 4 Season 3 update and is fueled by the Kinetic Ore. Are you excited?! However, many have been taken aback by the new Kinetic Boomerang because of how useful it is in close quarters battle. But that shouldn’t be your case.
Fortnite Season 3 is here, and with it, all the fresh stuff we’ve been craving for so long. In this update, you will find yourself in the WILDS, exploring the new Jungle environment, trying your hand at some new weapons, and more.
Fun fact: This is the second weapon to be ‘infused’ with Kinetic Ore; the first was the legendary Kinetic Blade, now unavailable.
Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3: Where to Find the Kinetic Boomerang?
Both good and terrible news! The Kinetic Boomerang appears to spawn more frequently at the three new POIs: the Creeky Compound, the Rumble Ruins, and the Shady Stilts. It may seem a bit challenging, but hold on; it gets better!
The Kinetic Boomerang can also be found in chests and as floor loot anywhere around the island in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3. With the Kinetic Boomerang, you get a sleek mechanical glove that can be used to rewind the boomerang after it has been thrown. How cool is that?!
Then, the Kinetic Boomerang will automatically return to your hand and be added to your inventory. It is most effective when used at mid-range and does 60 body damage and 110 headshot damage.
Bonus: In Rumble Ruins, you may see Kinetic Boomerang displayed on pedestals; all you have to do is go up to one and interact with it.
How to Throw a Kinetic Boomerang Correctly?
If you throw the boomerang toward an object, it will do non-explosive damage. However, if you click the ADS button at the last second, the boomerang will explode, doing explosive damage to the thing. Have fun!
