If you know who Future Gohan is, it means you’re a true Dragon Ball fan. We’re talking about the true version of Gohan, regardless of how much the fans hate to admit it. Future Gohan is the one who was supposed to be defeated by the evil androids created by Dr. Gero if Trunks had never traveled back in time to warn the Z warriors about the impending danger.
Therefore, Future Gohan exists in another timeline of Dragon Ball Z. He was no weakling, as Trunks was his martial arts student. Future Gohan was a fierce fighter and a trustful friend, but those qualities didn’t count in the face of the androids. As you probably already know, time travel was introduced in Dragon Ball along with the Dragon Ball Z anime. Future Trunks used it, and he did so again in Dragon Ball Super, along with other Z warriors.
Super Dragon Ball Heroes brings back Future Gohan
The Super Dragon Ball Heroes anime has been pretty good at bringing back dead warriors from the past. Many of them were evil fighters, such as Cooler or Janemba. But Future Gohan is now joining the party as well, according to ComicBook.com.
A new story arc of the show is presenting the Super Space-Time Tournament. Both good guys and bad guys will join the fight, and most of them are wearing masks. Future Gohan seems to be among them as well, and we can’t wait to see him test his skills once again.
The last time when Future Gohan was seen in Dragon Ball was in the Cell Saga of Dragon Ball Z when he only appeared during flashbacks. Future Trunks was always thinking about his mentor with sorrow, reminding of how he lost his life in the clutches of the androids.
