According to previous news, Samsung has been planning on launching the Galaxy S23 at the begging of next year – more precisely, in early February!
However, the exact launch day has not been made public even though February seems to be right around the corner.
That being said, as fans of the brand are looking forward to getting their hands on the new model, a new rumor claims to know the exact day Samsung’s flagship trio will finally debut on the market for everyone to enjoy.
That being said, the speculated date is the very first day of February and the launch event is supposed to take place in San Francisco, California, accompanied by a live stream event.
As you may or may not be aware, pretty much all aspects of the Galaxy S23 (Ultra) have already been uncovered at this point, including the technical specs, the only details still kept as a mystery being the price and the release date.
Thankfully, a pretty famous leaker known as IceUniverse has some information, namely the speculation that the Unpacked day is February 1st!
This date happens to coincide with a previous South Koran report that detailed the plans to release the phone in early February.
Furthermore, while Samsung has not shipped any invites at this point, it also confirmed that the physical launch event will be taking place in San Francisco, California.
While we patiently wait for the day the new Galaxy flagship is finally available, here are some things you should know about it!
As mentioned before, Galaxy S23’s specs have already been revealed.
The most expensive model, the Galaxy S23 Ultra, is set feature a generous 6.8-inch AMOLED display, 8K video recording and an exciting 200 MP main camera!
All three Galaxy devices will also share the same Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset that will most likely offer faster and more efficient performance to users.
As for the non-ultra variants, they are expected to have bigger batteries but also a unified and minimalist design many prefer nowadays.
Finally, Samsung might also give their Galaxy S23 the tougher Gorilla Glass Victus 2.
The price details are still unknown but there are speculations from multiple sources that suggest the prices will remain unchanged due to the fact that the global economy continues in an uncertain position.
Not to mention that Apple’s iPhone 14 (Pro) is a big competitor at the moment so it would make sense for Samsung to try and gain the upper hand by keeping their pricing more attractive.
For reference, the Galaxy S22 and the Galaxy S22 Ultra cost around $799 and $1199, respectively, although you can find big discounts for these older models.
