It’s safe to say that Google engineers were a bit with their heads in the cloud when they established the displays of the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro smartphones. Although those two devices are clearly high-end, it needs to be said that some of their users have been complaining online about issues such as screen flickering or ghost touching.
Apart from giving Google a slap on the wrist, it’s clear that both the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro can compensate in other areas. The phones stand out for their cameras, the implementation of Google’s own Tensor processor, and more. And perhaps that’s why the Mountain View-based tech behemoth aims to improve those cameras even more.
A new Google Camera update brings Night Sight to Pixel 6 and 6 Pro
According to Notebookcheck, Google is currently rolling out the Night Sight feature for the Pixel 6 series. Once the update arrives, the feature should work on Pixel 6 phones just as well as it does on the Pixel 7 series.
Night Sight is a feature that allows users to take photos under low light conditions, such as during the night, even without the need for a flash.
Despite the addition of the Tensor G2 processor made by Google for the Pixel 7 smartphone series, the night mode should now work just as fast on the previous Pixel 6 series, thanks to the new update in question.
The April 2023 update is now rolling out for Pixel phones, and Google has launched version 8.8.224.520435764.11 or its Camera app, mainly for Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro.
Next time you see a Google Pixel 6 or a Pixel 6 Pro on a store’s shelves, it’s no use having butterflies in your stomach if you want to buy them and if you don’t care too much about some minor display issues that those gadgets might have. The two smartphones clearly have a lot of interesting specs and features to offer.
