Even today, GTA 4 has a fair amount of die-hard fans, although the renowned open-world game is 14 years old. That’s indeed impressive, considering that most games that are in trend nowadays and have highly superior graphics will most probably be forgotten easily in a few years.
A fan asked himself how the famous Grand Theft Auto game having Niko Bellic as the protagonist would look recreated using Unreal Engine 5, arguably “the most powerful real-time 3D creation tool.” TeaserPlay has made it possible for GTA 5 to be recreated using the technology, and even the beloved protagonist Niko was recreated. Even his facial expressions are different, and the whole of Liberty City has a new fresh vibe.
Liberty City represents the same city that was present on the map in GTA III, the predecessor of GTA 4 and the game that came out much earlier, in 2001. As for GTA 4, Liberty City looked light-years more enhanced and improved.
GTA III represented one of the most important games of all time, and not necessarily for its gameplay. It represented the moment of transition from the 2D to a 3D environment of the Grand Theft Auto series, one that will turn itself to become highly influential and important for the gaming world. Many GTA titles are among the best games ever sold.
Rockstar proved with GTA 4 that it could raise the stakes even a lot higher than it did in the case of GTA 3. The size of the download file for each of those games is enough to realize the huge difference between GTA 3 and GTA 4: less than 1GB compared to 22GB, respectively. GTA 4 is far more realistic, with graphics of higher quality and much more enhanced and improved gameplay elements than its predecessor.
While the latest game in the series, known as GTA 5, is facing a lot of success even today, at almost a decade since its release and mainly for its online mode (aka GTA Online), it remains anybody’s guess when Rockstar will release GTA 6.
