GTA Online Makes Short Trips Available to All Players

Some voices from the gaming world said that there’s no need for Rockstar to create GTA 6 when the success of GTA 5 and especially its online mode (aka GTA Online) keeps flourishing. However, the head of Take-Two (the parent company of Rockstar) came to contradict them with a solid argument: “You always have to be willing to bring consumers what they want. The minute you try to protect the past, you become irrelevant.”

But even if Rockstar is indeed working on GTA 6, that doesn’t mean it will neglect GTA 5. And while the former game still has a huge fanbase that reflects upon the online mode as well, it’s in Rockstar’s best interest to keep updating GTA 5 as well. And we have another proof that it still happens even nowadays.

Short Trips become available for a limited time

If you’re one of those willing to be a part of the Short Trips side missions from GTA Online, you’ll now get that chance more than ever. Rockstar makes it possible without having any other requirements anymore. In other words, any player from GTA Online can be a part of it, but you’ll have to act fast as the offer won’t last forever! However, nothing lasts forever in this world, not even the “The Young and the Restless” soap opera. Now seriously, Rockstar’s offer is limited, and there’s no telling when the deadline is set.

After a long wait, Rockstar finally admitted about a week ago that it’s working on the next GTA title. Without specifically mentioning that the news is about GTA 6, there seems to be no hint that Rockstar might have actually been spoken about some other game.

GTA 5 is almost nine years old, and the wait for some official info such as a release date or a trailer for GTA 6 has to end sooner or later.
