Medialink is going to be the one to open the Haikyu!! “The Dumpster Battle” in Southeast Asian regions. As a result of the statement made by the Philippines, Malaysia, Vietnam, and Singapore have also confirmed the dates of their theater premieres. That is really wonderful news!

Haikyu!! Movie Official Release Dates
A manga titled Haikyu!! was written by Haruichi Furudate between 2012 and 2020, and it was published in the Weekly Shonen Jump as a series. Among the four seasons of the anime adaptation that Production I.G. has created is the first installment of the two-part finale movie, titled Haikyu!! The Dumpster Battle, which made its debut in Japan back on February 16, 2024.
The movie Haikyu!! was initially released by Medialink on April 11 in Hong Kong and Macau, while its debut in Taiwan took place on April 12. Although the specific release dates for India, Thailand, and Indonesia have not yet been disclosed, it has been revealed that the premiere will take place in May 2024.
The recent release dates for Haikyu!! in Asian countries are as follows:
- 15th May: South Korea and the Philippines
- 16th May: Malaysia and Singapore
- 17th May: Vietnam
- 15th June: Mainland China
- TBA: India, Thailand, Indonesia
The foreign distribution of the Haikyu!! movie is being handled by Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures Entertainment, and cinematic screenings are scheduled to kick in May. Curious about the locations and dates? Check this out:
