Catch Tranquill in Raids
Tranquill is currently part of the 3-star Raid pool, so your chances to catch it in raids just got higher!
First, you need a Raid Pass or Remote Raid Pass. Tranquill is vulnerable to Rock, Electric, and Ice types. Here are some of the best counters you can use:
- Zekrom:Â Charge Beam (Fast Move) + Wild Charge (Charge Move);
- Electivire:Â Thunder Shock (Fast Move) + Thunderbolt (Change Move);
- Galarian Darmanitan:Â Ice Fang (Fast Move) + Avalanche (Charge Move);
- Rampardos:Â SmackDown (Fast Move) + Rock Slide (Charge Move);
- Therian Forme Thundurus:Â Thunder Shock (Fast Move) + Thunderbolt (Charge Move).
Catch Tranquill in the Wild
Finding Tranquill in the wild, like many other Pokemon, is mostly at random. The ‘mon spawns but extremely rare.
Instead, you can get a Pidove and evolve it using some Candies (Pinap Berry is a perfect choice for Tranquill). So, what should you do?
If it wasn’t enough, the pre-evolution also spawns randomly. Unless it’s a special event with increased spawns, chances to get one are very low.
However, if you really want Tranquill, get ready to use a lot of incense to grow your chances. Also, collecting enough Candy can get you closer to your goal. To transform Pidove into Tranquill will require you 12 Candies and 50 to evolve the ‘mon into Unfezant.
Tranquill Facts You Should Know
Pidove is a Normal/Flying-type Pokemon introduced in Pokemon Go back in September 2019, during the A Unova Unveiling event.
The Pokemon added two sleek evolutions, Tranquill and Unfezant. The first evolution is a fair choice when it comes to the game’s Battle League, thanks to its maximum CP of 1,442 at level 40 (the Great League has 1,500 CP).
Tranquill also has a great dual-typing which makes it very powerful against many opponents.
